Requirement
Travis Perkins, whose portfolio of companies also boasts Wickes, City Plumbing, Keyline, CCF and Benchmarx, wanted to contact all dormant / lapsed card holders by running a direct mail campaign enticing them back to their nearest relevant branch. In order to stand out from other direct mailings Travis Perkins wanted to incorporate a bespoke map showing each individual card holder’s nearest branch of the 1,200 across the UK.
Result
The branches had already been geocoded by us as part of a prospecting exercise so we quickly undertook a pilot study to validate the methodology then chose suitable background mapping to show the nearest branch. We also wrote a software script to automate the placement of the appropriate company logo over each map.
