Requirement
The Hay Group is a global management consulting firm that works with leaders to develop talent, organise people to be more effective and motivate them to perform at their best. GIS software is a valuable information tool, allowing Hay Group to monitor and better understand organisations with a spatial remit such as local government, and to create rich maps for analysis and reports.
We were asked to implement and upgrade a departmental GIS software solution for them.
Solution
After an initial consultation, ArcGIS software was sourced and installed on multiple desktops, using the most appropriate Esri license for the department. Various publicly-available datasets were supplied for use in the GIS. Corporate ID”s were inserted into the map data so that client information could be pulled in from in-house databases and used to create maps.
Result
A bespoke training course was delivered that focussed on core departmental tasks and introducing trainees to the capabilities of the software.
