GIS Application Development and ArcGIS desktop tools for Environment Agency
Requirement
Lovell Johns were awarded a four year framework agreement by the Environmental Protection Agency, Ireland (EPA) for the “Provision of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and Environmental Data Management Support Services in 6 Lots.
Solution
Under the framework, we have provided ArcGIS desktop tools to enable automatic generation of draft Zones of Contribution (ZoC) areas. Success criteria were agreed for the tool which has been deployed on desktops throughout EPA.
Result
The ZoC tool was fully scoped and a specification agreed with the client prior to commencement of development. Documentation was supplied with the tool and annual updates carried out.
