The Minerals and Waste Core Strategy is a document within the Local Development Framework which sets out a councils spatial strategy and key policies with regards to developments for the extraction of minerals (such as coal, sand and gravel, hard rock, sandstone, clay and peat) and facilities for the management of waste in the area.
